Federal labor posters are only half the equation. On top of the federal requirements, many states have their own labor posters that employers are required to display for employees.

A Few Things to Keep in Mind

• Labor poster requirements can change as states update their employment laws
• Employers with employees in multiple states should review requirements for every state where employees work
• State posters supplement federal requirements, they don't replace them
• Posting requirements can depend on different factors like company size, industry, or if you're a government contractor
